Fairing of Parametric Quintic Splines

Abstract

In \u00a0this \u00a0paper, \u00a0we \u00a0gave \u00a0a \u00a0fairing \u00a0algorithm \u00a0for \u00a0parametric \u00a0quintic \u00a0spline \u00a0curves. \u00a0This \u00a0new algorithm \u00a0gives \u00a0a \u00a0clear \u00a0modification \u00a0to \u00a0the bad point's \u00a0position, \u00a0tangent \u00a0vector, \u00a0and second \u00a0tangent \u00a0vector. We also proved that this algorithm is of energy optimization. \u00a0
