Numerical Computation of the First Eigenvalue of the $p$-Laplace Operator on the Unit Sphere

Abstract

In this paper, we discuss a numerical approximation of the first eigenvalue of the $p$-Laplace operator on the sphere $(S^n, g)$ of $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$.
